“Zidul” means “The Wall” ... which will explain the site’s design!

I have set up this site primarily as a resource for our Romanian students to find out details about our next conference, and also to give them a chance to think about some of the issues beforehand.  The material is designed to be deliberately provocative, to encourage them to express their own thoughts so that we can discuss them in more depth in the summer.

At the moment, I am just updating the site, taking the old material off, and putting some reminiscences from this summer on!  If you want to find more videos than are on the cascaid site, here’s the place to look!
